At Oh Hello You Beauty we are fully certified and insured as well as licensed by Portsmouth City Council to carry out cosmetic tattooing also known as semi permanent make up or micro pigmentation.

We are committed to insuring safety for our clients and patch test must be performed at least 48 hour in advance of your appointment and we only use pigments which comply with the 2022 EU REACH regulations.

If you want a flawless finish without the fuss in the mornings, or suffer from allergies or intolerances to conventional make up, or suffer from alopecia or want a more defined shape to your lips or brows or thought it was cool to have super thin eyebrows in the 90's (yes I'm guilty), then cosmetic tattooing is a really good choice.

Cosmetic tattooing can last between 1 and 3 years but it's generally advised you have a top up or colour boost treatment every 12 to 14 months to keep you looking fresh.
LIP BLUSH
Lip blushing is a type of semi permanent cosmetic tattooing treatment, where a machine deposits specialised pigment into the lips using a small needle.

The Lip Blush results enhances the natural lip colour, improves the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness in a very natural looking way. It can help with asymmetrical lips and boosts colour giving a sheer lip stick look.

The full treatment requires 2 session 6 to 8 weeks apart and a colour boost treatment is advised every 12 to 14 months to keep your lip blush looking perfect.
PHIBROWS MICROBLADING
Microblading is a form of semi permanent tattooing, which uses a manual disposable hand tool composed of very fine needles resembling the shape of a blade to draw each individual hair and simultaneously implanting specialised hypoallergenic pigment into the dermal layer (lower layer) of the skin.

Microblading gives most natural looking brows of all the cosmetic tattooing techniques available on the market.

OMBRE BROWS / POWDER BROWS
Ombre Brows also known as powder brows, is a semi permanent cosmetic brow tattoo which creates a soft shaded brow pencil look, using a machine and specialised hypoallergenic pigment into the dermal layer (lower layer) of the skin.

Ombre brows are an excellent choice for those who have oily or combination skin or for those who fill in their brows frequently.

COMBINATION BROWS
Combination brows uses two techniques of semi permanent cosmetic tattooing. Microblading, which is the individual hair stroke technique with a manual tool and power brows, which is the shading technique using a machine.
The microblading technique is used at the front of the brows and then the technique transitions to powder brows in the middle and is consistent to the tail ends.
EYELINER ENHANCEMENT
Eyeliner Enhancement is a form of cosmetic tattooing where a machine is used to implant a specialised hypoallergenic pigment into the dermal layer (lower layer) of the skin directly on the lash line of your upper eyelid. As the pigment placed through your lashes rather then above them this treatment blends into your lashes giving your lashes a fuller and darker effect while framing your eye.

The greatest advantage of having eyeliner enhancement is it will never smudge and will be always perfect as it's be professionally drawn.

BB Glow
Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique which lasts up to 18 but in some cases up to 3 years depending on your skin type. Your eyebrows are designed and measured to suit your preference and face shape, then small hair like stokes are cut into the skin using a one-time-use specialised microblading blade and a specialised pigment (perfect colour chosen before).
